Collagen is found in bones, cartilage and connective tissue. It is Collagen Type II, which is used in LITOZIN® Collagen.
Copper contributes to the normal formation of connective tissues. A cause and effect relationship has been established between the dietary intake of copper and maintenance of normal connective tissues.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones. It also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the regeneration of reduced form of vitamin E.

Yes, once you have used up your original LITOZIN® you can start taking the new LITOZIN® with Collagen. We do not recommend taking both at the same time, as there is no evidence that this improves the effect of the products. You can combine the two products, e.g. if one day you would like to use the original LITOZIN® powder on your breakfast and the following day just want to take a tablet with the new LITOZIN® Collagen.

No, we have done tests showing that wild growing berries from the southern part of Chile contain a higher concentration of the active components compared to cultivated berries from e.g. Denmark. That is the reason why we use Chilean berries in LITOZIN®. The rose hip extract used in the product is unique and made from Orkla Care’s own rose hip powder, which is processed through a unique patent manufacturing method.
